Reed Realty was founded in Baudette, MN, in 2009. From day one, the company has been led by Mike Reed, who has served as the continuously active broker. Unlike many agencies that change leadership, Reed Realty has maintained the same steady, hands-on guidance since its doors first opened.

The People Behind the Business

Mike and his wife, Tonja, have called the Baudette and Lake of the Woods area home for over 30 years. They didn’t just move to the community, they put down roots. Together, they raised their family here and became actively involved in local life, both through business ventures and personal commitments. Tonja remains Mike’s biggest supporter, and their partnership reflects the relational, grounded approach that defines the agency.

Growth & Office Locations

What started as a single office in Baudette has since grown. Reed Realty now employs 15+ independent agents and operates from two physical locations:

  • Baudette, MN
  • Thief River Falls, MN

From these offices, the company services all of northern Minnesota, including the many smaller communities and rural areas between these two hubs.
